PECKHAM CARBOOT

We run every other week.

Bookings go live on a Monday after the carboot sale at 10am.​

We operate come rain or shine every other week between the hours of 

10.00am - 2pm​ @ Harris Academy Peckham, SE15 5DZ.

Located at the bottom of Bellenden Rd near Lidl in the astro turf playground.

We plan to run all year round as the venue is a hard standing concrete playground .

Do not be put off by bad weather as we still manage to maintain

a high number of sellers and high footfall of buyers.

'Early Bird' 10-10.30am- £7.00

'Early Bird' 10.30-11am- £5.00

'General Entry' 11am onwards- £1.00

We offer walk in , car and van pitches which you can book via our

online booking form found at the top of this page.

We do not provide rails or tables.

WALK INS- £13 (1 person only) Arrive at 9.40 am​

Terms and Conditions:​

SELLERS:

• We now have two entrances for sellers, playground 1 on Bellenden Road, and Playground 2 on Lyndhurst Way. NO QUEUING ALONG LYNDHURST SQUARE.

• If you, or anyone in your household have symptoms of Covid-19, you must not attend the sale.

• No trading before 10am. If you are repeatedly told not to buy or trade before 10am future bookings will be cancelled.

• Aggressive behaviour and threats towards our staff will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave immediately.

• All pitches must be pre booked. Pitches are non changeable and non refundable. In the highly unlikely event that we are forced to cancel then a refund or transfer will be offered. We suggest you carefully check your diary etc, before you book a pitch.

• We operate come rain or shine. If you decide not to come because of the weather we do not offer refunds.

• We cannot reserve pitches nor can you choose where you are put. 

• No selling of weapons, alcohol, cigarettes or counterfeit goods.

• All rubbish and unsold goods must be taken away with you. The boot sale is held in school grounds and there are no provisions for rubbish disposal onsite. There is CCTV on site , anyone caught leaving rubbish will be fined £10 an item. We suggest donating your unwanted items to local charity shops on Rye Lane.

• All sellers must be off site by 2.25pm or a fine will incur of £20 an hour for the caretaker to keep the gates open. So we advise packing away in plenty of time. Last entry for buyers is just before 2 pm.

• Toilets are for sellers only.

• Strictly no smoking is permitted on site.

• No music can be played for the duration of the carboot due to neighbour complaints.

• Max 2-3 people per pitch (cars/vans) Everyone must be in the vehicle on arrival.

• 1 person pitches available (walk in)

• No marquees allowed. Exceptions made if the weather is bad and space permits- please check in advance.

• If you have a disability that may require extra assistance please let us know beforehand so we can accommodate.

We are now introducing a staggered system for buyers. This not only allows buyers the chance to grab an early bargain it also staggers the queue for us at the door and allows a steadier flow of people for the sellers throughout the day.

​

• Please try and bring exact change for the door. We do not accept £50 or £20 notes.

• Cashpoints are close to the school- there is a Natwest cashpoint located opposite Burger King on Peckham Road.

• Please make sure you ask for a stamp on your way out if you wish to re enter.

• There are no toilets on site.

• There is food and drink provided on site.

• Strictly NO SMOKING. The carboot is held on school premises.

• Small children go free if accompanied by an adult.
